Festivals are one of the most demanding production environments there is. You are managing multiple acts, tight changeovers, outdoor conditions, large crowds, and a schedule that has no room for downtime. When the production is locked in, the audience never thinks about it — they are focused on the music, the energy, and the experience. When it is not, everything falls apart fast.

Out Loud Productions provides professional festival production services across the Greater Philadelphia Area. From community festivals and street fairs to multi-stage music events and cultural celebrations, we bring the equipment, the crew, and the experience to keep your event running from the first act to the last.

Festival Production Services We Provide

We work with festival organizers, municipalities, nonprofits, promoters, and event planners to deliver full AVL production for festivals of all sizes. Here is what we handle.

Main Stage Audio

The main stage is crucial for your festival’s sound. We design and deploy speaker systems tailored to your crowd and layout, ensuring coverage reaches every corner. We manage mixing and setup so artists are ready to perform.

Secondary Stage and Tent Audio

Multi-stage festivals require consistent production quality across all areas, not just the headliner stage. We offer full audio systems for secondary stages and smaller venues, ensuring every act gets proper sound and audiences enjoy a quality experience.

Stage Lighting

Festival lighting does more than illuminate a stage; it creates the atmosphere for performances. We provide moving light rigs, LED wash systems, and effects lighting tailored to your stage and event needs, whether for daytime or nighttime shows.

Staging and Infrastructure

We supply portable staging, risers, and platform systems for festivals that need a purpose-built performance space. Every staging setup is configured for safe load capacity, proper sightlines, and efficient changeover between acts — so your schedule stays on track.

What to Expect When You Work With Us

Outdoor festival production rewards preparation. The more we know before load-in day, the smoother the event runs for everyone.

1. Pre-Event Consultation

Every festival starts with a detailed site and production planning conversation. We review your site layout, stage count, act lineup, changeover schedule, and technical requirements — then build a production plan that accounts for all of it before anyone shows up on site.

2. Load-In & Setup

Our crew handles all load-in, rigging, and system setup. We work to your production schedule and coordinate with other vendors on site so setup runs efficiently and every system is tested before the first act takes the stage.

3. On-Site Event Operation

We are on site from the first act to the last. Our team manages front-of-house audio, stage monitors, lighting operation, and any technical issues that come up during the day. You run the festival. We handle the production.

4. Teardown

We handle full breakdown and load-out after the final act. Every piece of equipment is cleared from the site cleanly and efficiently so you can hand the venue back without a production mess left behind.

Professional-Grade Equipment

We invest in industry-leading equipment because it performs reliably when it counts. This is not consumer gear rented from a party supply store — it is the same equipment trusted by professional touring productions, broadcast teams, and live events nationwide. Every festival we produce gets the same standard of gear, regardless of size.

Festivals We Produce in the Greater
Philadelphia Area

The Greater Philadelphia Area has a rich live event culture. There are community celebrations, music festivals, cultural events, and outdoor programming that runs from spring through fall. We work with the full range of festival organizers across the region.

Music Festivals and Concert Events
Multi-act music festivals, outdoor concert series, and headliner events require serious production infrastructure. We provide main stage and secondary stage audio, lighting rigs, and full backline support for music events across the region.

Community Festivals and Street Fairs
Community festivals and street fairs have unique production needs — public spaces, varied layouts, and audiences that range from families to music fans. We build production setups that fit the space and serve the crowd, without overcomplicating events that are meant to feel accessible and fun.

Cultural Celebrations and Heritage Events
Cultural festivals and heritage events often involve diverse performance formats — spoken word, dance, traditional music, and theatrical elements. We have the flexibility to support multi-format programming and the experience to adapt on the fly when the schedule shifts.

Food and Lifestyle Festivals
Food festivals, art festivals, and lifestyle events need production support that serves the overall experience without dominating it. We provide tasteful audio and lighting solutions that enhance the atmosphere without overwhelming the event’s identity.

Nonprofit and Municipal Events
We work with municipalities, parks departments, and nonprofits to produce community events and public festivals within budget structures that reflect the nature of the work. Professional production does not have to mean an unlimited budget — we have produced events at every level.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book production for my festival?

For multi-stage festivals and larger outdoor events, we recommend reaching out at least 90 days in advance. Outdoor production requires more lead time for site planning, power coordination, and equipment staging. For smaller community events, we can often work with shorter timelines — reach out and we will let you know what is available.

Yes. We coordinate generator placement and power distribution for outdoor festival sites. If you have a site with existing power infrastructure, we can work with that as well. Power planning is part of every outdoor production consultation.

Yes. We regularly produce festivals with main stage and secondary stage production running simultaneously, with dedicated crew at each performance area. Let us know your stage count and lineup during the consultation and we will staff accordingly.
Outdoor production always carries weather risk, and we plan for it. We discuss contingency plans during the pre-event consultation, including equipment protection protocols and communication procedures if conditions change on event day.
We serve the Greater Philadelphia Area, including Montgomery, Bucks, Philadelphia, Chester, and Delaware counties. Reach out if your festival is outside this region and we will let you know if we can accommodate it.
